First aid measures First aid measures / general indications Remove contaminated clothes without delay. First Aid measures / inhalation Take the patient out of the dangerous area, provide for fresh air, then seek immediately for medical attention. First Aid measures / skin contact Wash with plenty of water and soap. In case of rash, medical attention is necessary. First Aid measures / eye contact Rinse immediately with plenty of water (for at least 15 minutes), then call for a doctor. First Aid measures / ingestion Do not induce vomiting. Seek immediately for medical attention. 5. Fire-fighting measures Appropriate extinguishing media Water spray, foam, extinguishing powder Carbon dioxide Water spray in large amounts, from a safe distance. Small fires can also be extinguished with powder or carbon dioxide, in such cases however prolonged spraying of water is required, to prevent the fire from starting anew. Extinguishing media that must not be used for safety reasons Halons Special hazards arising from the product itself, from combustion products or from resulting gases In case of fire the product supports the combustion. Do not inhale explosion or combustion gases. See also point 10. Special protective equipment for fire-fighters Wear protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus. Additional information Cool threatened containers with water in case of fire. 6. Accidental release measures Do not let this product enter into soil, water and drains. Remove sources of ignation, provide sufficient ventilation. Keep unauthorised persons at a distance. Take up with a polyethylene shovel, store temporarily in a clean cask with a loose lid in a safe place and dispose as soon as possible according to the local legislative provisions. Handling and storage Handling This product is sensitive to heat and many foreign substances, in particular amine accelerators. See also point 10. Follow clean work procedures. Close containers immediately after drawing out product. Never mix with the accelerator. When using polyester resin, this product must be dosed and mixed separately. Never store peroxides in a confined space, so that no dangerous built-up can take place after possible decomposition. Do not expose to foreign substances promoting decomposition, do not expose to heat and direct sunlight. Keep away from sources of ignition - no smoking. This product is combustible, explosive decomposition is possible under unfavourable conditions. Take mesaures against explosion. Earth when emptying and filling cask. Store only in original, closed containers, away from other substances. Storage temperature max. +25 °C. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs 8. Exposure controls/personal protection Additional technical indications on the technical installations Explosion-proof ventilation recommended.
