GOD or DEVIL?
„Devil’, ‘Demon’, ‘Ghost’, ‘Evil Spirit’: They are quite familiar words to all
of us right from our childhood. When a child troubles her mother while she feeds her, she threatens her by using these words. Though no man has ever seen a ghost, every man fears it throughout his life because of the stories he has heard from his elders. Man does not fear God but fears Devil. A child starts recognizing its parents after it stays with them for sometime. Similarly, we have started fearing the devil after having been exposed to their scary tales continuously in our childhood. Many have spoiled their lives by trusting Evil Spirits. While man is supposed
to worship God, his heart is brimmed with demonic qualities. He has turned the devil
into his God by allowing it into him. Now, it has settled down in him. The Devil sets
himself up in God‟s temple, proclaiming himself to be God (2 Thes 2: 4). Your
body is the temple of God (1Cor 6: 19). Know that the devil has set himself up in
our body, which was made by God to be His temple. Now, see what he said to the
Lord Jesus when came to save this world 2000 years ago.
The devil led Him to a high place and showed him in an instant all the
kingdoms of the world. And he said to Him, “I will give you all their authority
and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to.
So if you worship me, it will all be yours.”
Luke 4: 5-7
We can understand, from the above, whose authority is functioning in this
world now. Man, who should have been living for God, has given power to the devil to rule over him. As a result, he has become a slave to him. On the other hand, many crafty men are playing with the lives of innocents by using the names of evil spirits. They are killing even their fellow-men, under the name of ‘sacrifices.’ How deluded the world is now!! He (devil) has also misled mankind to kill one another under the name of holy-wars. He, as a director, had used both Saddam and George Bush as his actors in his screen-play. While God is our Father, how can He enjoy Himself by entertaining His children to fight and kill one another? Observe the following once. What causes wars, and what causes fightings among you? Is it not your
passions that are at war in your members (the organs of body)? You desire and
do not have; so you kill. And you covet and cannot obtain; so you fight and wage
war. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive,
because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. Unfaithful creatures! Do
you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? James 4: 1-4

Longing for change in His children, God had already instructed us in the
above part and warned us to set our lives right before Him. No father in this world ever desires the ending of his children. He rather wishes to see them live together with unity. God’s Love is much greater than theirs. Unfortunately, man is always fascinated by demonic qualities. As a result, he has turned himself to be devil, ignoring such a wonderful Love of God. So-called intellectuals do not know this. Instead, they say that there are no demons. On the other side, many cunning men are looting and swallowing the lives of innocents under the banner of demons. What will grow in the hearts of men by dint of all this? Is it Love or Hatred? Think. God had warned, around one thousand years B.C., against all these deceivers.
But the then generation did not take heed of Him. Go through the following once. “Yes,” declares the Lord, “I am against the prophets who wag their own
tongues and yet declare, „The Lord declares.‟ Indeed, I am against those who
prophesy false dreams,” declares the Lord. “They tell them and lead my people
astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not
benefit these people in the least,” declares the Lord.
Jer 23: 31, 32
Yes, this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “Do not let
the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams
you encourage them to have. They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I
have not sent them,” declares the Lord.
Jer 29: 8, 9
God takes away all the enchanters from their place.
Do not consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter. Isa 8: 19
Despite God’s repeated warnings, they had not listened to Him. Had they
obeyed Him, we would not have witnessed this deception now. The Lord Jesus Christ came to this world to open the eyes of this world with these Words. But even the people in those days did not listen to Him. When He told them that they would pay attention to Him if they belonged to God, they replied Him saying that He was demon-possessed? You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your
father‟s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning. He who belongs to god
hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to
God.” The Jews answered him, “You are a demon-possessed one.”
John 8: 44, 47, 48

By not obeying the Lord God, men have turned the devil into their father. The
Lord God conveyed the doom of such wicked men and their followers, through his
Prophet Isaiah.
Disaster will come upon you in a moment, on a single day; it will come upon you
in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and all your potent spells. You
have trusted in your wickedness…
Isa 47: 9 - 12
There are many in our society who practice magic arts and by which they are
leading the innocent towards hell. Let us see their ending once in the Word of God.
Their wisdom does not come down from heaven but is earthly unspiritual, of the
devil.
James 3: 15

Behold! I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone
according to what he has done.
Rev 22: 12
In order to satisfy their earthly desires, they keep deceiving. Their stomach is
their god. Instead of feeling of ashamed of themselves for their awkward acts, they
feel proud of them. God is firm in punishing them.

Their destiny is their destruction; their god is their stomach and their glory is in
their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.
Phil 3: 19

Such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth
talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naïve people. Keep away from them.

Rom 16: 18
The first ones who were caught in devil’s snare were the first parents, Adam
and Eve. God had put them in the Garden of Eden and given them a Royal Life. And
He had instructed them not to eat the fruit of a tree. (Gen 2: 8 -17). The devil became
jealous of their life and designed a plan to pull them away from their Father. He
entered the garden; he came to Eve and started conversation with her as if he were an
intimate of her earlier. Though he was a stranger to her, the first mother started
answering his questions, instead of re-questioning him who he was. He made them
both violate God’s Instruction. He succeeded in his very first attempt in dragging men
from their Heavenly Father. He projected the Lord God as a liar before them by
telling them that they would not die even if they ate the fruit of the tree as God had
said (Gen 3: 1-7).

Since then, he has been targeting every man in every generation and has seen a
huge success. Man’s ignorance about him is the main reason for this most miserable condition. When the first parents rebelled against God by keeping His Command aside, they had to start thinking about themselves. Yes! It was the first time that they became concerned about what to wear. Earlier, God’s raising was in such a way that there had been no necessity of clothes as their eyes had been pure. It is great pity that from the stage where there was no need to be concerned about his needs, man has come down to the stage where he has to think about his every need every second. His thinking gave birth to selfishness; selfishness has given birth to desires. As a result, Unity and Love among men have disappeared and Vengeance has spread its wings widely. And they have started killing one another. Whose guidance is this? Is it God’s or the Devil’s? Instead of repenting for their sin, Adam and Eve started knitting their clothes. Starting from there, man has started making many things for himself. In fact, he is always occupied with his inventions, throwing himself away from God. Later he invented even Atom Bomb. Many countries together formed an organization called U.N.O. to ensure peace in the world. Surprisingly, the same countries possess the most destructive weapons in the world. What does it mean then? America destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan with a very powerful Atom Bomb. Who will recognize the devil that controls America? And who can cast it out? Many false preachers, pastors, sorcerers and many so-called Babaas claim that they cast out demons. Some of them even tie some small talismans to prevent them. Let them now tie such talismans around such countries which are being controlled by the main Villain, Satan. Can they? By committing sin, man has been affected not only by spiritual diseases but
also by physical diseases for which he invented many medicines and unknowingly named some of them like this. Go through the following once. 1. Terramycin
2. Streptomycin
3. Garamycin
4. Gentamicin
5. Neomycin
6. Lincomycin
7. Ensamycin
8. Saframycin
9. Vancomycin
You can observe the sound like ‘MY SIN’ in all the above words. There had
been no such ‘my sins’ before man committed the first sin in the Garden of Eden. Been caught by the devil, man started thinking about himself, ignoring God, the Father. This has fetched him many diseases. Let us observe the following once to know much about this devil.
He made the inhabitants of the earth worship a beast, deceiving them. He
ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast. He also forced everyone,
small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right
hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark.

Rev 13: 11 - 17
If we study the above part diligently, we can understand that the devil has
planned quite strongly in order to hold everyone in his zone permanently. So, he made
men set up an image and he forced them to worship it. Let us see another verse to
understand it better.
Men exchange the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal
man and birds and animals and reptiles.
Rom 1: 21, 22
The above part in the Bible says that men have turned the glory of God into
the images of men, birds, animals and reptiles. Let us think sincerely how men have made these images; what are they; and where are they? You will be startled when you come to know what it is. It is nothing but CURRENCY. If you can see any currency note, you shall find images like men, birds, animals etc. Think how much value man gives to it. If he is asked to choose God or Treasure, man certainly votes the latter. Satan has set up his most powerful weapon, treasure, in everyone’s heart where God desires to reside. Almost every man in this world is after this currency, isn’t he? He strongly believes that MONEY MAKES MANY THINGS. Man can not live without money now. Money plays such a key role in man’s
existence. You can not sell or buy without it. If you do not have any money for a long
time, you have no option but to die. God had got the same written in the Bible for us
to understand it. He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast,
so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image (Currency)
to be killed. (Rev 13: 15). He has also shown us what happens to those who are after
richness. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into
many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For
the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money,
have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. (1 Tim
6: 9, 10). This Currency Note is made out of the substance from this creation. Man
inscribed pictures of men, animals, birds etc. on it. And men have started worshipping
it, being after it round the clock. Under the banner of Service to man, many parties
have emerged and are emerging to grab the Power to rule. But what is the main
intention behind them? Is it not the treasure behind the Power that they are all looking
at? Will they continue to be in politics, if there is no profit in it? Is it to save people or
savor people’s treasure? Think. Keeping this in mind, read the following once. Men
worship and serve created things (Treasure/Currency Note) rather than the
Creator (Rom 1: 25).

How great the Bible is indeed! It had foretold everything what exactly
happens now. Secondly, we have read that the image speaks (Rev 13: 15). You open a
currency note of hundred rupees out of your wallet and check what it says on it. „I
PROMISE TO PAY THE BEARER THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED RUPEES.‟
Who is ‘I’ in the sentence? Yes. It is the note that speaks there. You read it aloud.
You are giving voice to it. Putting an end to the Barter system, Satan became
successful in introducing, establishing and fixing thirst for money in everyone’s heart.
Longing for it, many have become rich and many have become destitute. Those that
are rich may feel proud of themselves for their status. But they do not know that they
can not carry it to their next life in the next world. They do not even remember the
fact that their life is short here. The Bible sets the life of a rich man before us to learn
from him. A rich man says to himself. “You have plenty of good things laid up for
many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.” But god said to him, „You
fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get
what you have prepared for yourself?” (Luke 12: 19, 20).

Let us see some more verses pertaining to such rich people.

They heap up wealth, not knowing who will get it.

Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint. Cast but
a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off
to the sky like an eagle.
Pro 23: 4, 5

The abundance of a rich man permits him no sleep I have seen a grievous evil
under the sun: wealth hoarded to the harm of its owner, or wealth lost through
some misfortune.
Ecc 5: 12, 14

One eager to get rich will not go unpunished. A stingy man is eager to get rich
and is unaware that poverty awaits him.
Pro 28: 20, 22

Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never
satisfied with his income.
Pro 10: 10

Riches do not endure for ever.
Pro 27: 24

After desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown,
gives birth to death.
James 1: 15
Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of he misery that is coming
upon you. Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold
and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your
flesh life fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days.
James 5: 1-3

You can not serve both God and Money.
Matt 6: 24
The Lord Jesus himself has said that Currency has elevated itself to the place
of God. As Satan had promised to set itself like the Most High, he has succeeded in achieving it by settling down in the heart of every man. Who knows this dangerous secret in this world? Think. Think also how this media projects a demon. It shows that the demon stays and roams in cemetery; it sucks blood; it appears only in nights. But the fact is that the Devil, out of his craftiness, has falsely introduced himself like this to divert men from his originality. He works through many means now. He has made many as his followers like False Preachers, Babaas and Sorcerers etc. And he deceives through them under the name of mantras. On the other hand, he has bound every one with his most powerful weapon, Money.
But it is only God who can expose the devil and the reality. He has had it
written in the Bible. Only Bible Learners can know this and be on their guard. Therefore, it is in your hands to decide whether you take heed of the Word of God and live accordingly so that you may obtain the Eternal Life and be with God forever or you continue to be slave to the Devil that leads you to the Eternal Fire.
