Two requirements must be met before feeds can be distributed in Texas: (1) the facility distributing the product must be licensed, (2) the product distributed must be properly labeled. The purpose of this booklet is to assist in labeling products properly. LABELING
Once a manufacturer of commercial feeds is licensed to do business in the State of Texas, proper labeling is required before distributing feed in the State. Commercial feed, other than customer formula feed, shall be labeled with the following information: 1. Product name and brand name if any 2.
